OLIVIER SIMARD 

After graduating from UQAM in literary studies, Olivier taught high school for a dozen years, mainly in groups of students with great difficulties. In 2012, he published Kickflip, his first book. He then wrote the successful series Youtubeurs, for which he won the Tamarac Prize and the Littéraire des Ados Prize.

In addition to his work as an author, Olivier travels to schools in Quebec to share his passion for writing with teenagers. For several years, he has also given conferences where he addresses themes that are dear to him such as courage, attention and openness to others.
